Baby Bears (6 weeks-pre-crawlers)
In this class, we use captivating songs and rhymes in combination with developmentally supportive movements to promote physical development, language development, social interaction, and bonding with caregivers. Your littlest yogis will thrive in this time to coo, cuddle, and connect with their mama bear!
Little Bears (crawlers-age 2)
Little Bears love to move, sing, and explore, and that is exactly what we do in class! Children of this age are starting to separate from mama a bit more, so this class uses a combination of poses with the caregiver along with independent poses, all paired with songs, rhymes, and creative movement to foster independence, physical development, and social-emotional development. This class is sure to keep your Little Bears busy (and happy)!
Cubs (ages 2-5)
It's time for Mama Bear and her cub to romp and play! Our biggest little bears are beginning to develop a very important skill at this age--imagination! These classes combine yoga poses (both independent and with caregiver), songs, games, and creative movement, all centered around a theme to inspire creativity, as well as promote physical and social-emotional development. Get ready for a wild good time!
Kids' Yoga (ages 6-12)
Our kids' yoga will improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, lots of yoga games as well as centering breathing techniques to improve focus.
Yoga for the Exceptional Family
This unique, 30-minute class is designed for teens/young adults (ages 13-21) with diverse abilities including, but not limited to, ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays, limited mobility, and behavioral challenges. Alongside their caregivers, students will practice pranayama breathing, mindfulness exercises, a gentle yoga sequence, and relaxation. Techniques taught in class can also be used in the home to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination while also reducing stress and anxiety.
