A Glimpse Into Mama Bear Yoga

I am (finally) back on the blog! Hooray!  It has been a jam-packed month between finalizing my summer class schedule, creating some new partnerships for new class locations, and planning some super fun summer events.  And in between all that, my first baby finished up preschool last week and is getting ready to "graduate" on Friday!  So much excitement and so, so, so much to be grateful for.  

Anyways, this week's video is a little different than the others.  Probably the number one question I get asked (by people who have never come to a class) is, "How on Earth do you teach yoga to small children?  My kid can't stay still and pay attention long enough to learn yoga poses."  To answer that question, I had some incredibly kind and talented friends come and video/photograph a class.  Here is the result, and I love it.  I hope that it helps you see that yoga is beneficial (and fun!) for EVERYONE, and that the little ones in class learn yoga poses in many ways (and definitely not by standing still).
